Personal Training for 3 years with 2 ½ of those in the CrossFit methodology. Have played sports my whole life, 15 years of Rugby League, 5 years of Cricket, 3 years of Soccer and have tried my hand at just about every other sport imaginable.

My first 6 months was in my parents backyard with bent and rusty barbells and a medicine ball made of an old basketball filled with sand. I think my first crossfit workout would have been Fran or Cindy.

Jay is a NSW firefighter and an ex army paratrooper who served in Afghanistan. He learnt in the army the importance of functional fitness and wanted to maintain this when he discharged from the defence force. A friend introduced him to CrossFit shortly after leaving the army and he quickly became addicted.

Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach since 2015. Have played some sort of team sport (at school or on the weekend) since the age of 5 including 17 years of netball, 10 years of cross country and 2 years of OzTag.

I've played a variety of sports my whole life such as cricket, rugby league and soccer. From the age of 13 I had always been training in some sort of gym environment to improve my current physical abilities for these sports. Although training as hard as I could I never saw significant results in my performance and would find training very boring and end up going through the motions instead of training with a purpose. I found CrossFit in 2012 during my last year of high school and fell in love with the training. I dove head first into the program after I saw significant results in my abilities from strength to the way I performed during cardiovascular dominant workouts. Still continuing to further my knowledge through coaching courses to watching endless CrossFit videos and podcasts and I am very passionate about sharing my knowledge with anyone that steps foot in the gym.

"I have always had a passion for health and fitness and found myself continuing to want more and learn more. Once I tried CrossFit I knew what I was looking for and I have not looked back since. This way of training kept me motivated, improved my fitness significantly and brought back my competitiveness that I had lost after leaving sports due to injury. I love meeting and getting to know new people and helping them reach their health and fitness goals. I will go out of my way to make sure your experience in CrossFit is as enjoyable as when I began. I regularly workout within the scheduled classes so that I can get to know all the members, have a laugh and most importantly get the work done."
